Weekly Photo Challenge: Water

looking up.
time to dig out some old compact camera photos… a couple of years ago i was in Laos, beautiful Laos! travelled around a bit and got to this place – Muang Ngoi Neua, a little village surrounded by lots of water, and completely isolated by steep mountains flanking all sides. the only way in and out of here is by these long boats along the river.

Wonderful – makes me feel like I’m on a boat!
I really need to go on the water. I could go on a boat ride, right now. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos.

I remember visiting Luang Prabang several years ago and still think that it is one of the most beautiful places that I had ever visited. Very friendly people too. Nice pictures!
thank you ramoncito17!
Luang Prabang is an absolute beauty too, we ended up staying there the longest, did lots of excursions on our hired bikes. loved the people, the food and can’t wait to revisit it one day soon.
Both of these are beautiful shots! Love the perspective of the first shot and love the composition of the second.
