Weekly Photo Challenge: Numbers
two lovely wooden boxes with numbers to fit this week’s photo challenge. they are containers for storing old photographic glass plate negatives. still intact is the cataloguing system with a column of numbers running down the left and the list of the contents on the right.

Love the fact that this picture is about something related to the early history of photography!
i got them from the local library, they are packing up for an imminent move to a new site, so all the contents of the boxes were being repackaged into something more compact for the move hence most of the older containers were being chucked out. i am just glad that i got them before they made it into the skip.
old school. love it!!!!!
thank you!
